Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience with engines, brakes, suspension or HVAC.
• Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with clear verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax standards.
• Perform automotive services from basic maintenance to complex repairs.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings and work.
• Repair or replace vehicle components to support reconditioning efforts.
• Assist with alignment, suspension, and diagnostics as skills grow.
• Uphold CarMax values and collaborate with teammates to meet goals.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean work area.
