The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr, with actual offers varying based on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, paid time off, and tire discounts.

As an Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will:

  1. Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services professionally.
  2. Mentor colleagues and stay updated with new automotive technologies.

We offer:

  • ASE reimbursement with pay increases for certifications in brakes, electrical, AC, engine performance, and repair.
  • Ongoing training and clear career progression.
  • Flat rate pay with a 75% guarantee (30 hours/week).
  • 401(k) with 2% company match.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 31 days.
  • Life insurance paid by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various vehicle systems.
  • Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C, and cooling systems.
  • Participate in training to keep up with automotive advancements.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnostics and repairs.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications: ASE A4 (Steering and Suspension), A5 (Brakes), state inspection licenses, or MAC certification.

Additional Considerations:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and technology.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
