AutoNation is seeking a Non-Certified Technician who will inspect vehicles on delivery, perform minor repairs, and place cars in saleable condition. The role offers factory training, OEM certification support, and clear advancement paths across service, sales, management, and regional roles.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6–12 months of experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, and solid mechanical skills.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of previous work experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Manual dexterity, good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Mansioni

• Sign an acceptance for each vehicle delivered.
• Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and visible defects (dents, scratches, upholstery, mechanics).
• Inspect surfaces for chips and scratches in paint.
• Start engine and test steering, brakes, transmission and engine operation.
• Test power equipment and ensure operation standards.
• Replace defective items using hand tools.
• Install optional equipment per customer or dealer specifications.
• Install or repair major mechanical/electromechanical equipment using hand tools.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Tune engines using appropriate test equipment and tools as needed.
