Job summary

Toyota of Bristol is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose problems, perform vehicle repairs, and provide routine service while upholding Toyota standards. The role offers a dynamic, high-volume shop with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.

Experience in automotive repair, a valid driver’s license, and a strong customer-service mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Technician / Mechanic experience required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
• Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle and diagnose the problem(s).
• Perform quality repair/maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Provide an estimate of the time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
• Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology.
• Keep the shop neat and account for dealership-owned tools.
• Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification.
