Job summary

CarMax, the nation’s largest used-car retailer, seeks a Mechanical Associate in Virginia to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety standards. You’ll work with a team in a climate-controlled shop, gaining hands-on experience on domestic and foreign models while upholding CarMax’s customer‑driven quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
