Job summary

Goodyear Automotive Technician position seeks a skilled technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems across our service centers. You will troubleshoot complex faults, perform preventive maintenance, and work with evolving technology.

The role requires at least three years of repair experience (or military vehicle maintenance) and a valid license, with some evenings/weekends. ASE certifications and state licenses are preferred; Goodyear supports growth and certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years automotive repair experience or three years military vehicle maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) Certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment.
