A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Typical work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with scheduled Saturdays. Your day centers on diagnosing and repairing customers’ vehicles while maintaining the highest safety standards. Customer satisfaction is a top priority; you handle upsells or additional work with enthusiasm and adhere to the “fix it right the first time” motto. You collaborate closely with your ASM, keep them updated on additional services, provide administrative assistance with warranty repair orders, and maintain machine‑tool inventory. You stay organized, keeping a tidy workspace and ensuring vehicles are returned in pristine condition. Your positive attitude and dedication to excellence make you essential to the team.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN?
