Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location: 306 Great Place Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62025

Job Overview:

This brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in April 2025. Interviews will begin in March 2025.

We are seeking energetic, upbeat technicians with a positive attitude who are passionate about solving problems and doing right by our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using your knowledge and skills
• Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Communicate effectively with the service department and customers
• Collaborate with other technicians to meet deadlines and deliver quality results

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• ASE Certifications or plans to achieve them
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models
• Meet or exceed hourly goals
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Long-term career development interest

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and move over 100 pounds
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level
• Work in tight spaces as needed
• Use hand tools efficiently
• Walk and stand for most of the day
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Navigate a computer efficiently
