Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Location: 15750 87th St NE Otsego, MN 55330

Job Overview:

We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for need to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Diagnosing and fixing vehicles for our guests using knowledge & skills
2. Building experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
3. Completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
4. Working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
5. Following and promoting high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
6. Communicating guest concerns effectively with the service department
7. Collaborating with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications:

1. Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
2. 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
3. 3-4 ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
4. Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
5. Meet or exceed hourly goals
6. Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
7. Professional appearance and strong communication
8. A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

1. Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
2. Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
3. Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
4. Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
5. Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
6. Drive manual transmission vehicles
7. Efficiently navigate a computer
