Description

Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai is experiencing rapid growth, and because of that, we’re interested in adding an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to our service department. Our dealership has a great family culture where we not only value family but feel like one. Our Automotive Technicians/Mechanics make a huge difference in our service department by diagnosing vehicle problems and performing repairs. The ideal candidate would be an individual with prior experience working on Hyundai vehicles or having other vehicle certifications.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
• Conducting inspections, repairing engine failure, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
• Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

Qualifications

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
• Hyundai Certified preferred.
• Driver’s License.
• Personal Tools.
  

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
