Business is booming here at South Tacoma Honda and to help accommodate growth, our dealership is interested in bringing on an Automotive Technician/Mechanic. Many of our technicians have been working in our service department for a long time and we have a great family-like work culture. Our Automotive Technician/Mechanic does both diagnostics and repairs on our clients’ vehicles as problems arise. The ideal candidate would have worked as an automotive technician with dealership experience.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Automotive diagnostics and inspections.
• Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
• Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

Qualifications

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
• Honda PACT Certified is preferred but not required.
• Driver’s License.
• Personal Tools.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
