Enterprise Mobility at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport is hiring Automotive Technicians to service a multi-brand fleet. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with a $1 per hour ASE bonus up to $29.00 per hour.

A $500 tool allowance is paid on hire and annually, with a standard 40-hour work week and comprehensive benefits. The role requires completing ASEs within 12 months, OEM training is valued, and the shift is Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in automotive repair
• OEM training or 4 current ASE certifications required
• If OEM training, must obtain 4 ASE within 12 months (cost sponsored)
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler warranty procedures a plus
• Valid driver's license with limited violations in 3 years
• Pre-employment drug test required and random testing
• Must be 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance meet manufacturer specifications
• Complete required training and perform warranty/recall repairs
• Complete ADA installs after training
• Maintain vehicle repair history with Repair Orders
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles after repairs
• Follow part and inventory tracking procedures
• Use multiple manufacturers' diagnostic tools and websites
• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires or buys backs
• Perform weekly shuttle bus inspections and repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean work area
• Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Other duties to support health, safety and standards

Starting compensation for this position is $25.00 per hour plus $1 per hour for each ASE up to $29.00 per hour . With previous experience, our new Auto Technician can be hired with OEM training/certification, but must obtain 4 ASEs within first 12 months of employment. This position also offers a $500 tool allowance paid upon hire and annually ! This position is located at our Dallas Fort Worth Service Center at 3720 S 26th Avenue DFW Airport, TX 75261.

The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. Responsibilities

• Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.

• Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.

• Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.

• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.

• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.

• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.

• Utilize multiple manufacturers' websites, software and diagnostic tools.

• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.

• Perform weekly inspections, preventative checks, and repairs on shuttle buses.

• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.

• Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.

• Requires ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

• Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.

• OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications required

• If hired with OEM/manufacturer training, MUST obtain 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire (cost sponsored by Enterprise)

• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.

• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.

• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).

• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of Microsoft Office Products required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Apart from religious observation, must be available to work the following schedule as part of an operational shift bid including weekends, nights and holidays: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
