Automotive Technician / Mechanic - BMW Entry Level

Located in Long Island, Rallye Motor Company, a premier luxury automotive group, is seeking reliable and motivated individuals with automotive experience to join our team at Rallye BMW. We value teamwork and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health.
• Recommend repairs or replacement of tires.
• Repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
• Install new tires, balance tires, and perform wheel alignments.
• Conduct roadside repairs and examine vehicles for additional repair needs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about work needs and progress.
• Document all work accurately and perform road tests as needed.
• Perform authorized work only and manage third-party tire claims electronically.

Shop Assistant / QC Tech Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles to identify issues and ensure repairs are completed.
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
• Charge vehicle batteries and move vehicles within the shop.
• Assist with towing non-running vehicles and maintain shop organization.
• Communicate discrepancies to service staff.

Requirements

• Valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Basic mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of shop equipment; NYS Inspector’s license preferred.
• Experience with Hunter machines and high-volume tire mounting.
• Professional appearance.
