Automotive Technician / Mechanic (ASE Cert required / A or B Level)

Honda of Sumner is seeking driven and experienced candidates for a full-time Automotive Technician / Mechanic (ASE Certification required / A or B Level). Join our dynamic team where record pay periods are common, and your potential is unlimited!

Compensation: $24.00-$40.00 per hour flat rate DOE

Paid Time Off:

• 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, in accordance with state law
• After 36 months of service, an additional 40 hours of PTO annually; after 120 months, 80 hours annually

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs as specified, efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with Service Advisors about additional repairs and provide time estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• ASE/OEM Certifications required, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair (minimum B level)
• Dexterity, mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Team player with effective collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
