Volkswagen of Everett is seeking driven and experienced candidates for a Full-Time Automotive Technician / Mechanic (ASE Certification required / A or B Level)! We want you to be a part of our dynamic teams! We have Technicians flagging record pay periods! No limit to your potential!

Substantial Signing Bonus potential for candidates with VW, Audi, or Porsche certifications

$26.00-$56.00 per hour flat rate DOE

Paid Time Off

• All employees earn 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked in compliance with the applicable state paid sick leave law.
• Following 36 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn an additional 40 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date. Following 120 months of continuous service, full-time employees will earn 80 hours of RAG PTO on each anniversary date.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• ASE/OEM Certifications Required
• Minimum B level qualifications or OEM certifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer competencies
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
