Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking energetic, upbeat technicians/mechanics with a positive attitude, who are passionate about solving tough problems and doing right by our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Diagnose and repair vehicles to ensure guest satisfaction.
2. Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
3. Complete thorough, honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
4. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
5. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
6. Communicate effectively with the service department regarding customer concerns.
7. Work with other technicians to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve them.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models.
• Ability to meet or exceed hourly productivity goals.
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Interest in long-term career development.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and move over 100 pounds.
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
• Work in confined spaces as needed.
• Use hand tools with dexterity.
• Stand and walk for most of the workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Navigate a computer efficiently.
