Cogent Analytics seeks a skilled ASE Automotive Technician to join our client’s Northern Kentucky family of auto service professionals. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, following manufacturer specifications to ensure top customer satisfaction.

The role requires a post-secondary automotive training credential or equivalent, ASE/SAE certification preferred, and a valid driver's license. You’ll work on-site with a team focused on quality service and community trust.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Diagnose malfunctions using vehicle diagnostic systems and tools.
• Establish service protocols to track repair status and reference manuals.
• Use a checklist-based approach to inspect engine, HVAC, transmission, brakes, and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as fluid checks, tire rotations, brakes, and oil changes.
• Follow manufacturer specifications to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate repair issues clearly to the Customer Service Advisor and Shop Manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company policies and productivity standards.

As our client continues to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and motivated ASE Automotive Technician to help deliver an exceptional experience for every customer and support the ongoing success of our team.

Responsibilities

• Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools


• Help establish service protocols for tracking the status of repairs, maintaining relevant technical manuals, and using charts


• Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems


• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes


• Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business


• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both the Customer Service Advisor and the Shop Manager


• Maintain a safe work environment, maintain company policies, procedures, and productivity standards

• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred


• Strong customer service and communications skills are needed
