Job summary

Princeton Sunoco is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our busy auto repair shop. You will diagnose and repair vehicles and be comfortable using computer software and diagnosing vehicle systems.

You should have a never-give-up attitude, be willing to problem-solve for customers, and provide references from prior workplaces.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools to evaluate codes, performing maintenance, inspecting all systems, and communicating repair details clearly to customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or certification from trade school.
  • An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
  • ASE/SAE certification or Master mechanic preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communications skills required.
  • Be able to work on all makes/models and have experience in small and large repairs including engines/transmissions.

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Establish service center procedures for tracking repair status and documenting work.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful auto repair business.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes

Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols

Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements

Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred/Master mechanic
