Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards while building customer trust in AutoNation as a care-giver for vehicle safety and reliability. You will diagnose, communicate with service advisors, and document all work to ensure high-quality service across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store).
• Valid in-state driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repair when authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of tools and stay current with factory bulletins and training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
