Job summary

Pritchard Companies is seeking a motivated Lube Technician to join our service team. You will perform routine maintenance with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal tools.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership service procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance/repair needs and communicate findings to service advisors.
  • Maintain quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize dealership systems to document services performed and inspection findings.
  • Operate shop equipment safely and follow procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service through workmanship and professionalism.

What You'll DoVehicle Maintenance & Inspections
  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership service procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings to service advisors and technicians.
  • Maintain quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Service Operations
  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain productivity expectations and service department standards.
  • Utilize dealership systems to document services performed and inspection findings.
  • Properly operate shop equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Customer Experience
  • Support exceptional customer service through quality workmanship and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience through attention to detail and timely service completion.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal tools required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desire to pursue a long-term career in automotive service.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around vehicle lifts, equipment, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles.
