Job summary

An automotive service company in New Jersey is seeking an Intermediate Level Technician to perform a variety of automotive maintenance services. You will work independently and collaboratively within a full-service facility, conducting inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance. Successful candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with previous automotive knowledge preferred. Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of automotive basics required.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Valid driver's license necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough visual safety and courtesy inspection.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance including oil changes.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as brake pads.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Maintain and clean shop areas.
