Position Overview

Kirk's Auto, a full-service auto-repair shop serving the Farmington communities, is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician with excellent repair and maintenance skills. The role offers growth opportunities, challenging work with a variety of vehicles, and a dedicated team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay from $23 - $35 with bonuses, or flat rate with accelerators up to $8/hr, plus bi-weekly guarantees. Average annual income ranges from $54,600 to $89,440.
• Full benefits package including medical (3 plans, with a 100% employer-paid option), dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401K match after 90 days.
• Paid time off: 80 hours front-loaded annually, 6 holidays, and 1 week paternal leave. Shop closes on weekends.
• Training and career advancement through onsite and offsite programs to enhance skills and industry value.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM EST.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and servicing steering, suspension, alignment, heating, and cooling systems.
• Basic skills in electrical and engine repair.
• Experience with digital vehicle inspections preferred.
• Own tools and a valid driver’s license required.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and character.
