Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the opportunity to start a rewarding career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. To support this initiative, Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and Retailer policies
• Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies
• Perform services and repairs efficiently, communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure excellent customer service

All employment opportunities are with independently owned and operated Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time positions at participating Kia Retailers, not directly with KUS or ERS. Employment is subject to applicable laws and individual retailer policies. Kia and ERS do not guarantee employment through VTAP; employment decisions are at the discretion of each Kia Retailer based on eligibility, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge from military service
• Valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks
