As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

In this role, you will:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services professionally
  • Mentor and learn about new automotive technologies
  • Work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate diagnostic skills
  • Inspect, repair, and diagnose systems such as brakes, suspension, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
  • Participate in formal training to stay updated on automotive technology
  • Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping
  • Perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
  • At least three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension
  • ASE A5 Certification in Brakes
  • State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification

Additional Considerations:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays depending on location
  • Ability to use diagnostic technology and applications
  • Use tools and knowledge to recommend solutions to guests
