Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Automotive Technician II in Louisville to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspections across a variety of vehicles. New hires are eligible for a $1,500 tool bonus and competitive pay, with opportunities for career stability.

Responsibilities include diagnosing drivability issues, conducting advanced diagnostics on starting/charging, AC, OBDII, and electrical systems, and completing detailed vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3 years related work experience; or any degree or certification above HS with 1 year related work experience; or 5 years related work experience without a degree.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging, AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required.
