Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician at our Virginia Beach automotive service team.

You will learn and perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, and routine maintenance under the guidance of experienced technicians, delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications

  • Oil changes and basic automotive maintenance
  • Reading, writing and math skills required
  • Ability to learn mechanical tasks and perform inspections
  • Basic tire repair and servicing knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance
  • Inspect steering, suspension and brake systems
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems
  • Install tires and perform tire maintenance
  • Road test vehicles and verify repairs
  • Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment
