Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision of experienced technicians. You will learn hands-on skills, perform routine inspections, and assist in repairs while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes customer interaction and ensuring clear communication on repair procedures, with on-the-job training and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks and hold a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspection basics, and tire repair.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training; ASE certifications or equivalent preferred.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts as needed and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed).
