Job summary

Greg’s Automotive is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in line with MAP guidelines and our standards. This role supports a family-friendly shop atmosphere and emphasizes quality workmanship.

The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with room for growth and advancement within Sun Auto Tire & Service network. Must meet ASE/education requirements and be available Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
Must be at least 18 years of age; ability to work five days per week (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (Store Manager, Service Consultants, customers).
Recommends services necessary to keep the vehicle in running condition and documents all recommendations.
Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
Maintains ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.
