Job summary

Goodyear in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience diagnosing issues and delivering outstanding service in one of our Auto Service centers. You’ll apply mechanical aptitude to perform line work, inspections, brake repairs, and routine maintenance while upholding safety and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Desire to learn new automotive technologies and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs.
• Handle fluid exchanges/flushes, wheel alignments, tire installation, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide clear communication and guest service to customers and document work performed.
• Mentor junior technicians and report safety issues to management.
