Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems at multiple U.S. auto service centers.

The role features a 40-Hour Flat Rate Guarantee for the first 30 days and a 30-Hour guarantee thereafter, helping you build your customer base and earnings. Pay is based on experience, with benefits including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, tuition assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred ASE certifications (A4 Steering & Suspension, A5 Brakes) and state inspection/MAC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, and HVAC.
• Troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and modern technology.
• Mentor teammates and continuously learn new automotive techniques as technology evolves.
• Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and bending/squatting for extended periods.
