Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and seeks experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles in the Matthews, NC area. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, handling brakes, suspension, tires, and routine maintenance with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or training.
• ASE certifications welcomed (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection licenses are preferred.
• Must have your own set of tools to perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair services.
• Perform undercar repairs: brakes, suspension, steering, shocks, struts.
• Conduct oil/filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and perform inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, balance tires and ensure wheel alignment when needed.
• Uphold Mavis quality, safety, and customer service standards.
