Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring a full-time Automotive Mechanic for one of our service centers in Cream Ridge, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire services, while performing oil changes and inspections as required.

You will work with state-of-the-art facilities and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth at a leading tire and repair chain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education/experience.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs for customers' vehicles (brakes, struts, shocks).
• Perform state-mandated inspections and routine maintenance (oil/filters, fluids, wear parts).
• Disassemble/mount/rotate/balance tires and assist with vehicle servicing.
