Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic in the Basking Ridge, NJ area. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, including brakes, struts, and tires, and perform state inspections and routine maintenance.

Qualified candidates should have 2+ years in automotive repair, own a personal toolbox, and possess a valid state inspection license and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and legal work authorization in the United States.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training demonstrated by education/experience.
• Extensive personal toolbox of automotive repair tools required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks).
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, part replacement, and tire mounting/balancing.
