Job summary

Sewell BMW of The Permian Basin is seeking an Automotive Technician to join a 100+ year old locally owned dealership with strong growth potential. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, communicate with the service team, and ensure timely updates to service advisors while upholding dealership policies.

There is a focus on ongoing factory training, mentorship of trainee technicians, and adherence to all government regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
• Manufacturer certifications and dealership/repair experience preferred.
• State Inspection license is a plus.
• Drug screening, background screening, and I-9 compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles.
• Communicate with service team regarding repairs.
• Monitor repair time and update service advisors.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete documentation for client repairs.
