Job summary

Town & Country Toyota, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking an Automotive Technician. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance to dealer standards, supervising apprentices, and attending factory training.

Eligible candidates should have ASE or manufacturing training and a high school diploma, with a valid driver's license and clean MVR. We offer a full-time schedule, weekends off, paid time off, a 401(k) match, possible bonus pay after 6 months, and employee discounts on vehicles.

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• ASE or manufacturing training.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and assign to stall area.
• Perform work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts when under warranty or requested by customer.
• Inspect vehicle for additional safety or service needs.
• Notify service advisor if additional work is unnecessary or cannot be completed as promised.
• Document work performed and road-test vehicles as required.
