Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician at Town & Country Toyota in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, and supervising apprentices where assigned.

Compensation is hourly and ranges from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour, with bonus pay up to $3.50 per hour after six months. Full-time schedule, Sundays off, 401k match, and paid time off are included in benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test).
• ASE or manufacturing training.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts to obtain required parts.
• Document work performed and road-test vehicles when required.
• Supervise apprentice technicians and attend factory training.
• Keep shop area neat and tools accounted for.
