Job summary

Lou Fusz Ford Inc. is seeking an automotive service technician to join our Evansville service team. You will perform repairs, conduct test drives, and diagnose issues across engine, electrical, brakes and more, while maintaining dealership standards.

You will work with the Service Advisor to update customers on needed work and time estimates; warranty repairs are conducted per manufacturer specs. ASE is preferred, a clean license required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Clean & valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional work and estimated time needed.
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
