Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Technician in a full-time position with a flat-rate basis and a 75% hour guarantee. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and engine performance, with opportunities for ASE certification reimbursement and career growth.

Candidates should have at least three years of automotive repair experience (or equivalent military vehicle maintenance), a valid driver’s license, and flexibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience OR 3+ years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: ASE A4 and A5 Certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest technology and demonstrate diagnostic skills.
• Mentor teammates and learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing, bending, and squatting.
