The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Technician to join multiple U.S. auto service centers. This full-time position offers flat-rate pay with a 75% hour guarantee and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension, engines, and A/C systems, using advanced diagnostic tools, and mentoring teammates as the technology evolves. A valid driver’s license and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years automotive repair experience or 3 years in military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using up-to-date diagnostic equipment and techniques.
• Mentor teammates and adapt to evolving automotive technology.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness standards on the shop floor.
• Assist with manual tasks like lifting tires and operating in a physical environment.
