Job Title: Automotive Technician

Location: 101 E Main St, Wilmington, VT 05363

Company: Greene’s Servicenter

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Closed on Mondays, weekends off).

Pay: $25-35/hr depending on previous experience

We're looking for an Automotive Technician to join us and continue delivering the top-notch service our customers expect.

Overview:

The Automotive Technician is a skilled-level technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, in addition to being specialized areas of repair and who has previously worked as an A-Level general service technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicates with service manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience, A level tech
  • Advanced diagnostic skills (preferred)
  • ASE certifications (preferred)
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic, works efficiently in fast paced environment
  • Self-starter, works well with others
