Job summary

Linus Cadillac Buick GMC in Florida is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with a positive attitude and the ability to properly diagnose and repair today's GM vehicles. Experience with GM vehicles and diesel engines is preferred.

This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and opportunities for advancement. You will diagnose and repair systems, perform maintenance, read schematics, provide repair estimates, and maintain a clean work area while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• GM and/or Diesel engine experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engine repairs and powertrain systems.
• Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics.
• ASE certification recommended; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine repair, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and fluid service
• Use hand tools and power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service information
• Provide accurate repair estimates and document work performed
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality standards
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work area
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle concerns and recommended repairs
