Job summary

CJ's Tire and Auto is seeking an experienced automotive technician to provide timely inspections, diagnoses, and repairs per company policy. You will document specifications to help sales staff communicate with customers.

Requirements include 2+ years in the field, PA inspection/emissions licenses, Mobile Refrigeration Certification (609c), a valid driver’s license, and owning your own tools. ASE certs are preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive technician experience required.
• Have a valid PA inspection and emissions licenses, and Mobile Refrigeration Certification (609c).
• Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history, and access to reliable transportation.
• ASE Certifications preferred.
• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and error-free inspections, diagnoses, and automotive repairs following established company policy and procedures.
• Complete service inspections supporting customers requested service while clearly documenting the manufacturer specifications/ tolerances, which will support the salesperson in communicating conditions to the customer.
• Communicate technical aspects of repair to customer when asked by salesperson or manager.
• Perform approved vehicle repairs using established company and industry guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
