Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an Automotive Technician for our District Heights, MD location. This full-time role offers a flat-rate with a 75% hour guarantee and competitive benefits.

You will diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engine performance, A/C, and related systems, using the latest diagnostic tools. Ideal candidates have at least three years of repair experience (or military vehicle maintenance), a valid license, and flexibility for evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years automotive repair experience or three years in military vehicle maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems using the latest diagnostic technology.
• Mentor teammates and learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards; use protective equipment.
