Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Alabama is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles as part of a fast-paced service team. You will learn hands-on under experienced techs, perform oil changes, tire repairs, inspections, and road-test vehicles.

This role emphasizes safety, ASE certifications within two years, and a flat-rate pay model with benefits starting day one, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) match, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile drivers license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company; bonus for each test passed).
