Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision. Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Two years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School program.
• ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (company pays tests/fees).
