Job summary

George Gee Cadillac KIA in Coeur d’Alene, ID is seeking a Kia Technician to join our Service Department. You will diagnose and repair customer vehicles efficiently, perform test-drives, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.

This full-time position offers a flat-rate pay up to $35/hour, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth. 3+ years of experience and ASE certification are preferred; KIA experience is a plus; valid driver’s license required.

• 3+ years prior automotive technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Install parts recommended for repair and ensure repairs meet manufacturer/customer specifications.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and update the repair order.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and to manufacturer/customer specifications.

Qualifications: Automotive Technician Qualifications

• 3+ years prior automotive technician experience
• KIA experience is preferred, ASE Certification is mandatory
• Valid Driver’s License
• Personal Tools

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
