Younger Auto Group in Maryland is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will examine and diagnose vehicles, discuss repairs with the foreman or service advisor, provide labor estimates, and plan work with the foreman in a fast-paced dealership environment.

We offer ongoing training, factory bulletins, and mentoring opportunities. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required, with a competitive wage and supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months relevant experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to operate manual transmissions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor.
• Provide labor estimates and communicate requests to the Service Advisor.
• Plan work in cooperation with the shop foreman.
• Monitor repair time and update the Service Advisor.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (hazardous waste disposal).
