CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate in West Point, Virginia. You'll inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards in a climate-controlled facility designed for efficiency and growth.

Role offers an hourly rate of $24.70–$31.83, a hiring bonus up to $5,000 for new hires, and ongoing training with advanced tools. ASE certifications across multiple areas are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Fast-paced multi-tasking ability.
• Clear communication and detail orientation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
