Job summary

DEKRA North America is seeking an Automotive Technician for our Plano, TX on-site location. The role involves performing tests and inspections per local regulations and DEKRA standards, conducting basic maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include product sales, handling cash and payments, and maintaining the station’s equipment and appearance, with safety as a priority. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the State Manager.

Qualifications

• Oil and lube and basic automotive maintenance skills required or preferred.
• 1–2 years of automotive retail experience preferred.
• Certification to perform emissions tests and inspections is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform state specific tests and inspections according to local regulations and DEKRA standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluids checks, tires, and bulbs.
• Conduct product sales and services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Deliver all services and address customer questions and concerns.
• Manage cash and non-cash payments and reconcile daily deposits.
