The Automotive Technician / Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and effectively, following MAP guidelines and adhering to dealership, manufacturer, and company standards.

Compensation: $36k - $120k depending on experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose vehicles according to certification/experience level.
2. Perform work outlined on Multi-point Inspection and Repair Orders accurately and efficiently.
3. Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including managers, service consultants, and customers.
4. Recommend necessary services and document all recommendations properly.
5. Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisors.
6. Maintain ASE certifications and renewals.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent certification/training
• Valid driver’s license
• Availability to work Monday - Saturday

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The role involves exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, fumes, lubricants, and other materials. The environment may vary from extreme heat to cold, and the physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and good vision and hearing.
